I know this area is for Hybrids but I don”t see a category for a bio-diesel question. I”ve been researching on line and there seems to be a lot of people making there own vegetable oil fuel, do you have any recommendations of which system to use? I have been looking at the Diesel Secret Energy system which has a 87 vegetable content and relatively simple process.

QUESTION: I am writing an article about Smart Cars for a college paper. I was wondering if you could answers a few questions.
What are the advantages of purchasing a Smart Car?
Would you advise an individual to buy a Smart Car when they make their debut in the U.S. in Janurary 2008?

ANSWER: I am not supposed to do homework, but I”ll give you a hint. The hybrid smart cars are not in production yet. Here in Canada, they all use a small diesel. They have good mileage and easy parking.

Hi Bob,
I was potentially considering buying a hybrid vehicle. However, I do not know too much about hybrid vehicles. Could you give me some pros and cons about hybrid vehicles. One thing that I’ve heard is that they do not have much power behing them. I’ve heard that people will have the gas pedal to the floor and are not really going anywhere, which could be very bad when pulling out in front of traffic.
