i got into a car accident and decided it was best financialy to buy a new car instead of paying to fix my current beat up accordian. The only catch was, i was not prepared at the time to put anything down for a car. i went in and they gave me the thumbs up to get the car for $20,000. i drove off and did not think anything of it. It’s been about 3 weeks and they recently called me and they just told me that the finance office did not accept my loan for the full amount and that they would only finance $15,000 and i’d need to bring in the difference or a co-signer. what should i do?

While driving my 2004 Volvo V70 (normal speed/road conditions etc) the warning light “rear left door open” came on and the wipers went on once. I pulled over and checked the door (have 3 children in the back row) but it was closed. I kept driving. About a half mile later, same message and wipers went on again once, together with all the inside lights. I slowed down a little. Then the message came “brake failure” and 30 sec. later all the lights went out, inside the dashboard, the headlights, etc. I used the breaks, went to 10 m/h speed. No strange noises etc. I stopped, turned off the engine. Started the car again and got the message: “SRS airbag, urgent service”
I was able to drive to car back home, still with the last message and a orange light (not red anymore)
Any idea what this is/was/might have cost this problem? Any idea about a solution?
Thank you!

Writing from North Carolina. My niece is a 21 year old learner permit driver of a few months. She was traveling with a licensed driver. She rear-ended the car in front (small fender bender), police report filed, insurance information exchanged. A month later, my niece receives notice that she is being sued by the people she hit because the license driver she was with let the insurance lapse. Is my niece liable in the civil suit or should the insurance company go after the license driver? If she is liable, should we get a court appt attorney? Thanxs for any information!

When you think of your wheels, they can be considered the equivalent of the shoes that are chosen to compliment a nice suit or a sexy dress. When the right ones are picked, the entire outfit is set off.
